DOGSPEAK: Lucky Day!

Sometimes hanging around the kitchen pays off...

The other day when Dad was cleaning up, manna from heaven rained down upon me!

CHEESE!

It. Was. Grate.

(we won't mention what happened with my belly later that night...😝 )

hahahahaha! I'll bet there was a bit of a belly bomb. What is it about cheese that dogs love so much? It's way more enticing than meat, I think! Great catch of the photo and the poem.

There's life for you -- sometimes cheese rains down from heaven, but there's a price to be paid!

Tell Smidgey I too love cheese. It's grate for sure! xo

Poor Smidgey learned a grate lesson. Hope he fully recovered

Yes, there's always a price to pay. Bet Smidgey enjoyed every morsel, though.

Why is it that pets are CAN NOT resist that which goes down quickly and comes out, from one end or another, in an explosion?

I guess you will be "grate-ful" that comments will fill up with your "grate" pun, Bridget. Smidgey must have been happy, then not so much.

Poor Smidgey, hope the belly bomb has moved along… Ah the price one pays for irresistible delicious 🤤 desires, thanks Bridget!

Lucky Smidgey! Dakota would be happy to suffer a belly bomb for some grate cheese (as I'm guessing Smidgey was.)

Smidgey may have loved the taste of cheese but the after-effects were not what he bargained for. Love those Smidgey tales.

Oh, Smidgey. I can relate to your love of cheese...and the after-effects. I'm not sure I would be able to resist if cheese rained down on me. Sometimes it's just worth the troubles.

Another delightful tail from Smidgey's world ... (although it sounds like the aftermath wasn't fun for anyone!).

Elisabeth said...

oops! - tail ... tale - a perfect typo for a comment on a poem about Smidgey!

Hahahaha. Oh dear. I adore cheese. I made baked feta that came out "grate," even though I'm a terrible cook. I *might* even have shared a bit with Smidgey :>D
