DOGSPEAK: Exposed

For a few weeks we've been listening to Smidgey DOGSPEAK.

But do we really know Smidgey?

Smidgey knows Smidgey.

Using a modified Bio Poem format she lets it all hang out, so to speak.

Oh, Smidgey. You have indeed found the center of the universe. It might just be inside Mom's heart-pillow or Maureen...or maybe mine. What a good dog you are despite your many self-confessed faults. Keep smiling. Your smiles are contagious in the very best way.

Daisy (a very cute sassy young doggy miss) says, "Nice bio...wanna get coffee?...or cheese?"

Ha! A doggy date with Smidgey and Daisy! Valentine's IS coming up... thank you Bridget (and Donna). xo (appreciate the photo airbrushing too 😂)

That Smidgey! Dakota especially identifies with fearing nothing and everything at the same time.

Sweet, sleepy, smelly ... Best when they come from dogs and babies!

I love this! It truly captures her essence, and I love how the last few lines bring it back to the center of everything: Smidgey.

"who feels cold without a sweater and humiliated with one"--oh, the dilemma! Love hearing more from Smidgey

I love the so-relatable honesty of that sweater line. And the photo edits.🤭

My favorite lines are the contrasting ones about fear and cold, and I'm with Kat on the topic of the photo edits :-). Here's to modesty, Smidgey!

Smidgey is a hoot. We have a Labrador mix who won't get wet or fetch a thing, but is an expert barker.

Bridget, a trip to your site to hear from Smidgey is always fun. It appears that Smidgey enjoys being photographed and has a mind of his own. Hoorah for dog chatter!

Love how we move to Smidgey's nose to the center of Switzerland in your poem. Such a worldly dog!
