Today on Poetry Friday we are celebrating Mary Lee Hahn - educator, poet, human extraordinaire!

I can not think of a better way to show my admiration for Mary Lee than to share a cheesy poem that I hope will crack-er up!

Bridget, yes this will surely crack-er up! So cute. Nice celebration of Mary Lee today!
The more cheese, the better! Nice, Bridget :-)
I'm fondue of you. :) :) :) :) (I've had fondue in Switzerland! And wine! And wonderment!) Bridget, I can't think of a better cheesey analogy for Mary Lee. xo
This is a fabulous poem Bridget - and now you've made me hungry ;-)!
Love I am fondue of you so much!!! Thanks for the cheese fix -- perfect!
This makes me smile. Also: fondue?! How could anyone resist!
Such fun. And another new flavour on the acrostic platter. :)
Ah, Bridget, humor is the best medicine and filled with love and sweetness. Very punny, too. So good to celebrate Mary Lee. We should hold a Zoom party and all toast her with whatever we like!!!

Very funny, you pun-derful poet! Mary Lee will love the cheese-y especially if you find a glass of wine, too!
I love this! So clever!
Ha! You made me laugh. How do you make humor look so effortless? I admire that...and suddenly I have a hankering for cheese. Hmmmm.
I love how you fit fondue in your poem. So funny!
What a great little fun-packed poem for Marvelous Mary Lee, Bridget.
:-D
Lucky Mary Lee to receive such a cheesy poem, Bridget! You "pun"-upped the rest of us.
Bring on the cheese! You win the prize for the punniest tribute :-) You also wrote my FAVORITE kind of acrostic, one that has so far eluded me (but maybe now that I have the time and mental space I will try again). Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
I'm fondu this poem for Mary Lee - and hungry.
