poetic form: Skinny Poem

  • short, fixed form poem
  • consists of 11 lines
  • line 1 and 11 can be any length and must repeat
  • lines 2 through 10 are one word

  1. I did not know the Skinny Poem form. So glad you are sharing it and your wonderful poem. I will definitely try this. I bet it is deceptive but it is something I think that I could practice and get a better feel for a poem that would work.

    1. Thanks, Janet Clare! The Skinny Poem form is fun to play with, but yes, deceptively challenging. Not sure I did it justice, but I wanted to give a shout out to my hubs. :)
