poetic form: Didactic Cinquain

  • first line is one word that is subject of poem
  • second line is two adjectives that describe the subject
  • third line is three gerunds (-ing words) showing action of subject
  • fourth line is four individual words or four word phrase to describe another aspect of subject
  • fifth line is one word that is synonym to first line or very similar to it

We have resisted hummingbird feeders, so it's even more special when they come to the flowers in our garden! Hoverbirds, indeed!

I so miss hummingbirds, Mary Lee! They are not in central Europe so I have to resort to the internet for pictures of these wee little fellas. So cool that you have hummingbird attracting flowers in your garden. :)

Lovely. We have them here but I don't hang a feeder. I am amazed at their abilities & their migrations.
