poetry form: Acrostic
- a poem where certain letters in each line spell out a word or phrase
- can be at beginning, middle or end of lines
Ooh! A middle acrostic! I've always wanted to try one of these. You inspire me...again!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary Lee! The feeling is mutual. Look forward to reading your experimentation with a middle acrostic. :)
DeleteI have not seen this form before, I don't think. I love GOTCHA. Wonderful and wonderful story about your beautiful daughter's journey to your family. Very touching. I am going to give it a go and see what I can come up with. I do love this.
ReplyDeleteYay, I'd love to see what you come up with for a middle acrostic, Janet Clare. To me, it opens up more possibilities. :)
Deleteooooooh! I love it. We celebrate GOTCHA days in our family too. In fact, we have one...22 years on Saturday. I can't imagine life any other way. Happy gotcha day!
