The Swiss use an exploding snowman,

instead of a prognosticating groundhog.

How long it burns decides summer's plan.

The Swiss use an exploding snowman,

a sleeve of goosebumps or a suntan?

Just give us a reprieve from the fog!

instead of a prognosticating groundhog.

Everyone does their own thing & do we believe it? We have snow again tonight! Your repeating lines seem to get louder - hmmm. I'll have to check this one out!

I will! I have a post planned on the results...:)

We watched it 'live' via TV last night. Pretty spectacular sight! :)

Fascinating! Who knew?

And do tell -- what was the forecast? More fog? Or bright sun?

Thank you for this triolet. I feel like I am in a poetry master class! And I did not know of Swizterland's tradition. The "exploding snowman"!! Well, the ground hog and his shadow, I would need to see data as to how accurate he is. We have been to that town a couple of times but not on Feb. 2 and of course there is the movie. Which I do like, must say. Here's to spring!!
