...once a week poetry treat for the young and the young at heart...
You really bring your poems to life. Unfortunately I think I can taste this one. Gross!
Hee-hee! An extra glass of water and piece of bread might help. Thanks for 'experiencing' my poetry, Joe. =)
LOL A good one.
Thanks, Brenda! Glad you got a laugh. =)
Totally humorous and true, Bridget. This was a fun poem to read.
Thank, Carol! Unfortunately fish oil has this effect on many of us. =)
One can substitute a few other things in this poem, too, Bridget. Funny, and a bit alarming!
Yes, Linda, other things can be as alarming as fish oil, but nothing inspires me like the dreaded *burb*. Thanks for your bit of fun, too. =)
Ha! That was an unsuspected ending!
Thank you, Julieanne! Though unsuspecting fish oil is not pleasant. =)
Squish oil is part of my normal routine as well, but I usually avoid the burp at the end. I'm probably not going for the good quality stuff. ;)
I avoid that burp, too, Michelle! I found that switching brands helps...sort of. =)
Fun! I'm not in a hurry to add those fish oil capsules to my regimen any time soon!
Lucky you, Molly. They are not enjoyable, but they are important as of a "certain age". =)
PRECISELY why I quit taking fish oil pills!:-) Very fun!!
Thanks, Mary Lee! Maybe you need to find the "right" brand. Though, salmon tastes much better with similar effect. =)
Too funny, Bridget! You and your quirky take on ordinary things... :0) Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Robyn! I am nothing if not 'quirky'...or so my family tells me. =)
And yet, so much better than cod liver oil; off the spoon, down the hatch and right back up again!Cute poem.
I totally agree, Kat! Cod liver oil would be the worst - luckily I've never experienced it. =)
ha! I gave my fish oil pills (well, the contents of the capsules) to my cat...who no surprise, LOVED them! It's all in the eye (palate) of the beholder.
Too funny, Linda! Your cat must have a healthy heart! =)
