That picture says it all, Bridget. What a great compliment to Laura and her book. Love your poem about it - perfect!
LOVE!
Wonderful compliment, Bridget. It is a wonder of a book!
Oh, my heart!
Lovely compliments for Laura (both the photo and the poem!).
Thanks, Violet! Maureen loved the book - at the expense of her warm meal. =)
Thanks, Michelle! =)
Thanks, Linda! And thanks for sharing the love on Facebook. =)
Thank you, Laura, for writing a book that makes a young girl late for dinner. =)
Thanks, Tabatha! My girl had a hard time putting Laura's book down.
My son also disappeared under his covers, not emerging until he had devoured each perfect line. :-)
And now, all these comments make me want to dive under the covers (cloudy and cool today) to devour this book.
Your son has good taste, too, Brenda! =)
You must, Ramona! You will not regret it. =)
Mo has good taste! (And hopefully a mom who is willing to reheat her dinner when she closes the book with a satisfied sigh...)
Bridget, this TOTALLY made my day. Give Mo a hug from me.
Love the term Fan Girl. I can see that Mo is fascinated with the book. Love seeing active readers!
Thanks, Mary Lee! Yep, this mama knows that a good book can't be rushed and dinner can always be reheated in the microwave. =)
Thank you, Carol! My girl is an active reader if there ever was one! Her nose is always in a book...and I am always swooning. =)
Oh, this so reminds me of me when I was that age! I could forgo human contact and sustenance for days for time in a good book! I love seeing kids that engaged. Thanks for sharing this. It is beautiful to see.
Thank you, Donna! If only we adults had time to "forgo human contact and sustenance" because we are so engrossed in a book. =)
