My Mo absorbed in a must read book...

she devours each poem til
her dinner is cold

Mo is reading THE LAST FIFTH GRADE OF EMERSON ELEMENTARY by Laura Shovan - an amazing novel in verse. So good.

Speaking of so good, Poetry Friday is at Violet Nesdoly's blog

  7. Mo has good taste! (And hopefully a mom who is willing to reheat her dinner when she closes the book with a satisfied sigh...)

    1. Thanks, Mary Lee! Yep, this mama knows that a good book can't be rushed and dinner can always be reheated in the microwave. =)

  9. Oh, this so reminds me of me when I was that age! I could forgo human contact and sustenance for days for time in a good book! I love seeing kids that engaged. Thanks for sharing this. It is beautiful to see.

    1. Thank you, Donna! If only we adults had time to "forgo human contact and sustenance" because we are so engrossed in a book. =)
