Super Hero Dad (redux)

Dad has no cape,
I checked his bureau,
But I'm convinced
He's a hero.

He swing real high
and bakes a pie.

He fixes the car
and opens a jar.

He reads me books
and baits my hook.

He mends my shirts
and hugs my hurts.

I love my dad
With all my heart.
He's my hero -
Brave,
         strong,
                  and smart.
