Dinner to Dishes

We eat dinner,
scrape, scoop, slurp.
Best meal ever,
full belly burp.

Clean up time,
hit the road?
No, must help,
clear, rinse load.

Into the dishwasher,
clink, clank, clash.
Dishes get clean,
soap, spray, splash.

      Thanks, Linda! I think dinner and dishes have sort of a rhythm that lends itself to rhyme, most especially the dishwasher. = )
