Thanks, Linda! Losing a tooth at school is even more exciting than losing one at home. It can be a challenge though for those teeth to make it home. =)
Thanks, Michelle! Yes, this was fun to write, but I never enjoyed losing my teeth as a child and haven't liked the process for my daughters. Thank goodness their dad is not squeamish like me. =)
Oh goodness, thanks for the laugh! A little person I know is very excited about showing off his loose tooth, but is not at all eager to have anyone tug it! Excitement and fear combine, but the promise of a visit from the tooth fairy wins in the end!
You're welcome, Keri! Thank you for visiting. I can relate to your little persons quandary - even as a mom! Hope the tooth fairy is generous with him. =)

How exthiting, a thoose tooth! Cute poem.
I remember those "tongue tug-o-war"s!
I had more than one first grader do this, Bridget. Must share this with the primary teachers!
Lots of fun, Bridget--both my kids lost their first teeth while eating. And the thooth fairy pthayed.
"wobble, wibble, sway"--- love that! This must have been a fun one to write. :)
Thanks, Betsy! Loose teeth are always exciting (except I'm squeamish about the blood :o).
I know, Mary Lee! It seems the tongue has a mind of its own when there is a loose tooth around. =)

Mine, too, Buffy! When they had particularly wiggly teeth that didn't want to let go an apple always did the trick. =)

What a sweet poem. Love the last lines--proof!

Thank you, Violet! The tooth fairy makes the pain worth it, I think. =)
