Red Ripe Who Am I

I wear a green beret,
With a stem tassel.
I'm a dimpled fellow,
Eaten without hassle.

When ripe I'm red,
Sticky, juicy, sweet.
High in Vitamin C,
I'm great to eat.

Who am I?

Hi, Bridget. I love riddle poems! I'm not positive, but your mystery speaker reminds me of the raspberry patch in our back yard.

Nice images, Bridget. I like the 'dimpled fellow'. Riddle poems are great. I guess it must be raspberries, too!

Thank you, Laura! Riddle poems are one of my favorites, too, along with raspberries. =)
