Crickets in the Kitchen

Crickets in the kitchen -
Under there?
I hear them here
And everywhere!

Flashlight drawn,
I check around.
I'll keep looking
'Til they're found.

Incessant chirping -
I can't sleep!
But by sunrise,
Not a peep...
Ugh!

    1. Unless it is in the middle of the night because you can't sleep because of said cricket...just ask my hubby. ;-)
