...once a week poetry treat for the young and the young at heart...
Well, seeing that I'm the first commenter, I won't spoil the answer for others, but how fun Bridget! I see a colorful riddle book for children in your future.
Me, too, like Michelle! This would be a great book for younger kids. I know my four year old granddaughter would love to finish the riddles!
I'm with the others, Bridget, there's a book idea here!
Thanks, Michelle! I love riddle poems...I have a few from over the years. Maybe a riddle book is in my future. =)
Thanks, Linda! My daughter loves riddles, too. She actually inspired me to write this one after our recent trip to an aquarium. =)
Thanks, Tara! I'll keep working on riddle poems - their as fun to write as to solve. =)
This is wonderful, Bridget! I agree--definitely a great book idea here. I love riddle poems!
I agree with everyone else! Definitely a poetry/riddle book waiting to be published!
I got it! Yes, maybe a riddle book about sea creatures?
Thanks, Becky! Riddle poems are my favorite, too! =)
*they are* (instead of their)
Thanks, Carol! It's unanimous so far! =)
Good job, Liz! A sea creature riddle book - how fun that would be! =)
Riddle poems are such fun. And the rhyming is wonderful. I envision the answer on the flip of the page tagging another riddle poem.
Lively and engaging -- and you have an ocean of other characters to choose from for the book we all trust you are going to write!
I vote for a book about all kinds of creatures, land, sea, and air!
Noooo!! Don't serve Nemo on a dish!! (kidding)You did such a great job feeding us clues from the general to the specific. Fun, fun, fun!
Thank you, Margaret! I like the idea of tagging another riddle poem so each progresses into the other...mmm, my juices are flowing. =)
Thank you, Keri! So true, with the ocean it would take several books to even scratch the surface of all the possible creatures to write about. So many good ideas! =)
Thanks for your vote of confidence, Tabatha! Riddle poems work well for all creatures and everything else. =)
LOL, Mary Lee! My daughter had the same thought! Nemo is safe...=)
Gotta love a poem that rhymes enemies with anemones, but I hope your little Nemo got away!
Thanks, Laura! Nemo is safe, and not laughing about the dish, delish jibe. =)
