Lots of fun, Bridget--love your human pretzel. (When I first took yoga many years ago my heart would race as soon as the relaxation started. These days I'm so tired by the time we get to the relaxation that I come close to nodding off.)
Thanks, Buffy! I know I've had different experiences with yoga at different points in my life. I even took pre-natal yoga when I was 6+ months pregnant - now THERE'S a vision to ponder. LOL! =)
Cute, Bridget. I'm a long time yoga person. People can take it too seriously. There's no shame in falling over, finding your rear in where you weren't expecting it, or looking like a pretzel. Your poem captures the playfulness of yoga!
Thank you, Laura! I love yoga - I'm just not so good at it sometimes. But I always come back for more. Sometimes my 9 y/o does yoga with me in the living room. Love. =)
Ha ha! Too funny, Bridget. And often true! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Robyn! I won't say whether this is from first had experience...*wink*. Happy Friday! =)
DeleteGreat one Bridget. This gave me a laugh. Happy Poetry Friday.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joy! =)
DeleteLOL! Good to know not all yoga experiences are peaceful and relaxing. Cute poem, love the "rear and ear". :D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jama! Sometimes yoga can be a real "pain". LOL! =)
DeleteThis is exactly why I avoid yoga.
ReplyDeleteI know, Liz! It all depends on the instructor/DVD. Some are good, some not so much. =)
DeleteGreat! That made me laugh :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Betsy! I'm glad I helped lighten your day. =)
DeleteI'm with the others - I got a chuckle from this one, Bridget. Thanks for the bit of levity!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tamera! Me+Yoga=Quite the Spectacle =)
DeleteToo fun! You are much more flexible than I -- no rear-ear dalliances here, I fear. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Janet! Your meaning is clear! =)

ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda! Yoga can be delightful...or not, depending on the day. =)
