Fist Bump

Fist to fist,
We bump a thump.
Knuckle to knuckle,
Our hands jump.

A form of hello,
Or I like you.
A special sign

  1. It was an eleven year old nephew who taught me what a 'fist bump' was - I am so out of touch. :) Nice poem. :)

  5. My daughter is in middle school and tries to teach me all sorts of variations on the fist bump. One is "blow it up," where you bump fists and then both people spread their hands wide like an explosion.

  8. Fun and friendly. This would be a great poem to put in a time capsule, as our body language ways of 'hi' are always changing.
