Snow Globe Blues
I shake the globe,
White flakes drift down.
A magical sight -
Then Baby frowns.
Far too quickly,
The water clears.
I must shake again
To avoid Baby's tears.

Exciting News
I call Grandma
To tell her my news.
I won ribbons -
One red and two blues.
I got the red one
For my pirouette.
And one of the blues
For my string quartet.
The final blue one -
I'm the most proud.
I got that for singing
Super-duper loud.
Grandama's not surprised
By my success.
She's always known
I sing to impress.
To tell her my news.

Wee Wednesday "Weader": Pocket Bunny
Furry ears,
Fluffy tail.
My bunny is
Sort of frail.
On cold days
He will hide
In my pocket -
It's warm inside.
The perfect place
For him and me
Is snuggled in
My hoody.
Huge thanks to this week's Wee Words "Weader" Emily and her pocket bunny, Teddy!

Tinklebell Fairy
A scary fairy came to me,
Right before I had to pee.
I twisted this way and that,
It didn't matter which way I sat.
I heard that bell and had to go,
Tinklebell I'd always know.
By her uncanny ability,
To cause me to have to pee.
Right before I had to pee.
I twisted this way and that,
It didn't matter which way I sat.
I heard that bell and had to go,
Tinklebell I'd always know.

Upon this horse.
I'm ready to ride,
So is he, of course.
I will ride,
Swift and strong.
Upon this horse
Is where I belong.
Thank you to today's Wee Words "Weader" Colleen! (and Nom the horse).

Tummy Talk
I gurgle,
I rumble.
Without food
You stumble.
Feed me,
Your belly.
Even peanut butter
And jelly.
A sandwich?
Some hot soup?
Feed me soon
Or you will droop.
I'll cause pain
And a cramp.
If I had feet
I would stamp.
Do I smell
Yummy food?
Feed me quick,
Improve my mood.
Yuuummm!
Excellent choice.
Now satisfied,
I'll hush my voice.

Backseat Blind
The glare is
In my eyes.
I can't move -
You know why?
I'm stuck in
My car seat.
On the wrong side
Of the street.
Finally
Dad turns right.
I get relief
For my sight.

Before and After Baby
Life was better,
Before Little Sis.
I was Mom's only -
My life was bliss.
Now I have to walk
While Baby gets carried.
Since Sis was born,
Mom's tired and harried.
Having a baby sis
Hasn't been much fun.
Why did my parents
Want more than one?
When Sis cries,
I run and hide.
I don't like babies,
I must confide.
But before too long,
Baby is crawling.
She smiles and claps
With much less bawling.
Then she toddles
And follows me around.
It's like having
My own personal hound.
When I sit and read
Baby comes to bug.
When I start to yell
Baby gives me a hug.
This squishy surprise
Makes my heart warm.
Maybe I am glad
My sister was born.

It Doesn't Fit

I bounce my butt,

Weightless I soar,

Varying Volume
The movie's volume
Goes up and down.
When it's up
Mom wants to frown.
When the volume
Is turned down low,
I try to lip-read,
But I'm too slow.
Then I use earbuds
And we're all happy.
I can hear my movie
And Mom's not mad at me.
